Fontaine Press Managing Director Jason Swiney said an Australian-based film and television production company with an impressive track record in the development of content for mainstream audiences in the form of feature film and television programs has purchased the rights.
‘We were particularly impressed by their track record, and desire to delve into the many interesting threads from Leonie's work, to bring the story to mainstream Australian, and beyond,’ said Swiney.
Leonie’s doggedly determined cold-case investigation exposing new theories and evidence that formed the basis of ‘Horrible Man’ have been widely reported on in mainstream media including an important episode of 60 Minutes. With the subsequent media and public interest following the publishing of the book, after 25 years a prime suspect was revealed and arrested.

Psychic Book Launch Brings Shopping Centre to a Halt
In what is thought to be the first book launch of its kind in Australia, Fontaine Press brought a Queensland shopping centre to a standstill recently by inviting anyone who purchased the book prior to or on the day, to be 'eligible for the chance to be chosen from the crowd for a free psychic speed-reading'. No, it wasn't a cheap publicity stunt. It was the launch of 'Australia's Most Gifted Psychic' (Channel 7s 'The One') Charmaine WIlson's book Spirit Whispers.
